The ICCROM archive holds records concerning its administration and activities. The records relate to ICCROM programmes, projects, missions, technical
support, training activities, finance, and the administrative work of the General Assembly, Council and Office of the Director-General.
Records in the archive consist of paper records, such as correspondence files, minutes of meetings, reports, policies, personnel and financial files, and
architectural drawings. In addition to the paper-based records, the archive houses a large quantity of non-textual records, such as photographs (slides,
prints, negatives) and video and audio recordings. They cover the period from the creation of ICCROM in 1959 to the present.
The function of the ICCROM archive is to arrange, describe and preserve ICCROM institutional records, and make them available for study and research
purposes. Further information can be found at: http://www.iccrom.org/archive/.
